Edit four is a nonlinear suite with an Avid Media Composer 9000. It features AVR75, utilizing Avid's high quality Broadcast Video Board set. It offers real time dissolves at AVR75 and is based on a fast Power Macintosh 9600/350 for speedy editing.
Normally, edit four uses Betacam SX for digitizing and Betacam laying off your projects. However, because of our flexible, convenient routing system, if you need to use Digital Betacam or other formats, they can easily be incorporated into your project.
